Parameter Overview¶
Beamscan's parameters are organized into the following groups in Effect Controls.

| Beam | Extraction source, width, brightness and style (dashes, quantization and smoothing) |
| Glow | Phosphor halo radius and brightness |
| Color | Phosphor color, beam-core color and hue cycling |
| Animation | Flicker, jitter, hum, dropouts and persistence |
| Trace | Tracing engine, stroke-by-stroke drawing, retrace lines, corner highlights and multiple beams |
| Screen | Curvature, graticule, CRT mask, sync loss and other screen effects |
| Matte / Output | External matte, output pass and background |
